Does anyone know what this is 1.5 cm polypoid filling defect extending from the urinary bladder sidewall.?

A report from the radiologist shows the above result and also states this is suspicious for malignancy and correlation with cystoscopy. Is it true that all blader tumors are malignant?

The test involves shooting dye through a catheter into your bladder. "Filling defect" means the dye outlined a bump in the bladder that may be a cancer. It could be benign, but to be straight with you it's more likely malignant. The only way to know is to take a piece of it and send it for pathology study. The pathologist will also be able to stage the tumor, which will help determine what kind of treatment you need, be it surgery or chemo or radiation therapy.
