Help me explain menopause to a male boss.?

This person will not tolerate anything he sees as an "excuse" and others seem to see the symptoms and problems that come with menopause as a form of weakness. How can we educate men on this issue with so many females of this age in the workplace today? Without seeming weak and foolish?

Trying to explain will probably make you look weak and sickly. The problem is that many men still see "female problems" as a hindrance to work. There are legal avenues, but they take time, money and a lot of trouble. Bring a fan, some extra water and do the best you can. The reality is that males do not understand what they do not experience and only worry over their own aches and pains. The issue is really one of ageism, or discrimination for reasons of age related conditions. If you must explain, try using examples such as arthritis, hemorrhoids, or slowing walk due to age. These are all conditions that men do share with women as they age.

tell them we are changing to men gradually and it is realy difficultand try me as the best answer.
