What's the best medicine against malaria virous or to protect my self agaist malaria?

Actually many african daying every year because of malaria the result of mosquitoe bite bioson is the result of malaria how
do I protect my self against this virous? or what is the best medicine for that?

If you live in Africa or southeast Asia, using bug spray and mosquito netting are the best defenses, as opposed to life long medication. If you're visiting a malaria endemic area, you should use the cdc.gov site to determine what resistant strains are prevalent. If you are not near in a warm, tropical area where malaria is common, then it is not worth your time and money to try to protect yourself from something incredibly improbable.

Checking out my book and it says: Malaria is caused buy a minute single-celled parasites which are transferred from one person to another by the mosquito. there is no other carrier. It travels to the liver where they multiply very rapidly. After several days thousands of them flow back into your bloodstream, where they destroy red blood cells. Many remain in the liver and continue to multiply and release later into your blood stream so you keep getting repeat attacks. Symptoms may not even start at first about 8 days to 30 days after you are bitten. Blood tests is the way to find it if the doctor requests for this test. OK so to guard against it if you are going to go to a area in which malaria is a problem ask a physician to prescribe anti-malarial drugs to protect you. You must begin to take them before you travel and continue to take them after you return. Hope this helps.

Take a weekly preventive drug. This depends upon the resistance to antimalarial drugs in your area. Commonly used drugs are chloroquine, pyrimethamine and mefloquin.
