Can we combat Malaria by treating everybody in a certain area?

If everybody at the same time would take a good curative against malaria in an infested area, cant we clear that whole area of this disease?

You have to get rid of the mosquito that is causing malaria. A lot of the mosquitoes in Africa have become immune to the medication.

ddt is used again in Africa to spry swamps and invested areas.
It is very effective but should be used with caution

The problem with malaria is it saps the vitality of the entire
culture, hard to motivate anybody to do anything.
draining the swamp helps too.

If you treated a community and say there were no mosquitoes left carrying the disease then how would you keep people from other communities out?

Treatment is mosquito eradication, not treating humans.
