What cause malaria?

i want to know what causes malaria becouse my son has it and i wonder how he could get it.

Malaria, like dengue, is caused by mosquitoes.

Transmitted by mosquitoes. Bats & spiders kill mosquitoes

malaria is transmitted by anophelles mosquito. the parasite that will infect your body is plasmodium vivax and plasmodium falciparum

The disease is caused by protozoan parasites of the genus Plasmodium. The most serious forms of the disease are caused by Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax, but other related species (Plasmodium ovale and Plasmodium malariae) can also infect humans. This group of human-pathogenic Plasmodium species are usually referred to as malaria parasites.

Malaria parasites are transmitted by female Anopheles mosquitoes. So, thats how he got it. Too bad your doctor didn't tell you all this. I find that hard to believe

Malaria is transmitted by the bite of an infected female mosquito of the genus Anopheles.
It is an endemic in parts of Asia, Africa, Central and South America, Oceania, and certain Caribbean islands.
Getting the disease is by being in high risk places and being bitten by the mosquito.

the mlaria causes is from the palce which wet ,green and unclean area. this most happen in hot area. becuase not much rain which can wash off the victria. this most avalable in Africa.

I am from Ethiopia so i have learned and i got experience, it is much malaria in ethiopia

Malaria is caused by bite of infected Anopheles mosquito. This type of mosquito breeds in stagnant water. Malaria is transferable by mosquito bite only. It needs immediate medical care which must not be delayed under any circumstances. Cover the child with mosquito nets so that no other mosquito bites him and malaria is not spread.
Take proper care of him.
Bless you

Lets set these staright! its not caused by Female anopheles mosquito. The female anopheles mosquito is just a vector transmitting a protozoan of the genus plasmodium. There are for species in the genus; 1)P.falciparum,2)P.Vivax,3)P.Malariae,4)...
The malaria protozoa then develops for a number of days depending on the type or species. development goes on in the liver and the blood system later producing the symptoms such as headache,fever,vomiting,diarrhoea,bodypa... joint pains etc
Prevent it with
-screening your house with wire mesh
-spray the house
-dress the child clothes that cover most parts of the body to prevent bits
-Use insecticide treated nets
-drain stagnant waters
-clear bushes around the house
-Treatment immediately during infections to avoid complications
