Can magnesium sulphate or Epsom salt be taken orally?

Natural way to remove gall bladder stones :
GALL BLADDER STONE REMOVAL - The NATURAL Way by Dr Lai Chiu-Nan
Regimen:

*For the first five days, take four glasses of apple juice every day. Or eat four or five apples, whichever you prefer. Apple juice softens the gallstones. During the five days, eat normally.

*On the sixth day, take no dinner. At 6 pm, take a teaspoon of Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate) with a glass of warm water. Magnesium sulfate could bebought from the pharmacy.

* At 8 pm, repeat the same. Magnesium sulphate opens the gallbladder ducts.

* At 10 pm, take half-cup olive oil (or sesame oil) with half cup fresh lemon juice. Mix it well and drink it. The oil lubricates the stones to ease their passage.

The next morning, you will find green stones in your stools. "Usually they float," Chiu Nan notes.
Is this regimen applicable to me or is this regimen true?

Hi,

As a Ayurvedic practitioner, the regimen described by Chiu Nan sounds very good. In Ayurveda, the Indian traditional medicine still used today and recognised by the Indian government, gall stones are a result of excess drying of the gall bladder juices. This drying may be caused by excessive toxins in the body, most often from excess junk food, soft drinks and stress. This is made worse by the acidity contained in this type of diet and lifestyle, which demands the body to produce more bile from the gall bladder. A common result is stones.
The regimen proposed above will enable to sweeten the internal system and thus reduce the acidity of the body. Apples will also start a detox process by breaking the lumps of toxins- here, stones. Later, as explained already in your question, the oil wil soften the stones and the passages so they may be expelled.
If you do have gall bladde stones, I would recommend you to do a few things:
1. try this detox, it will either help or do nothing. It will ot harm you.
2. Make sure you eat warm, cooked food in the 5 days of juice, something easy to digest so you give your body more energy to deal with the problem at hand.
3. Use a blender to make fresh apple juice: few apples with water, blend to a pulp. juicing will take out the "mush" of the pulp which contains a lot of needed fibers.
4. Whatever the result of this detox on you, remember that everyone is different, and every body reacts in a different way. What works for you may not work on someone else. And what may work for one problem now will not help in another. Seek medical advice with a proper practitioner.
5. Again, seek medical advice with a medical practitioner. I would advise a well qualified Ayurvedic or Chines herbalist practitioner with a good reputation. Ask for no less than a 3-year degree in the profession. These medicines are very scientific and require many years of learning and training- something which seems to be often forgotten.

Remember, your problem stems from years of wrong diet and lifestyle. Eliminating he stones now will help only short term. It is important that you seek guidance to find out what may have been the cause, and how you can avoid further problems to your health. Your health is fully your responsibility. Good luck.

Yes Epsom Salts have been used for years as a laxative. They are safe but not gentle.. they give you the squirtz!

I have done the Liver flush and it did appear to work. I felt great after doing it.

Alex

Yes; Some take epsom salts for a laxative; but I do not recommend it.
