Does magnesium make you feel relaxed or even help you fall a sleep? |
I read that Magnesium is a natural tranquilizer, or anit stress. Is it stronger than taking a Benadryl or PM? And is any certain brand or type of Magnesium. I saw add for NSI Magnesium Calm, is it any good? Both calcium and magnesium is helpful. When taken together they have helped folks with sleeping problems. Recognized as nature's tranquilizer and muscle relaxant. I recommend OsteoMatrix. Also helpful is Stress Relief Complex and Gentle Sleep Complex. These are all natural supplements. Are you sure you didnt read about Melatonin? Magnesium does nothing for sleeping. Not that I have ever heard. Melatonin is an over the counter med that many take to help them fall to sleep. It comes in several different dosages. This works for me and it is not a narcotic. There are some studies that show that it it does have a tranquilizing effect. However, one should be careful in taking magnesium supplements--they work in conjunction with Calcium and Zinc and should be taken in proper proportions. |
