Is there any trith that Magnesium dramaticaly enhances your dreams? |
Ive read accounts where credible people claim that taking magnesium makes dreams more vivid. On person described them as dreams before taking the magnesium were like watching a black and white tv and after taking it was like having a dream in High definition. Any truth to this? if so what causes it? I doubt it very much as I take magnesium and I have not noticed any difference in the quality of my dreams. It just might be "suggestion" that makes them think or feel that their dreams are more vivid. I don't know if its true but I'm going to try some self expirementation . I don't know about the magnesium part. But may i ask why there is the need to take chemicals to enhance dreamtime? are you having problems remembering your dreams? most dreams in a natural state are pretty vivid, we just don't remember them upon waking. from a shamanic perspective, dreams give us a great abundance of information about our subconscious selves, and taking a chemical to change your dreams may change the output your subconscious brain is trying to tell you in dream time. then again, chemicals can enhance one's perspective by 'thinning the veil' to see other realities. that depends on your perspective and your own ethical and moral standards. i would say if you choose to experiment with chemicals, you do so while in a conscious state rather than during your sleep/dream time, unless of course you are an active lucid dreamer. |
