Magnesium Sulphate (Epsom Salts)? |
Anyone use Epsom Salts these days for bathing? I've heard that they are useful for ridding the body of toxins..... anyone got any experience of their benefit......considering trying it myself Bile Salts And The Cholesterol is made in the liver. Bile Salts are then discharge from the gallbladder into the intestine to help digest fats. These bile salts are soapy substances. They are produce in response to the amount of fat in the diet requiring digestion. Sometimes these salts can become stones within the gallbladder itself; the stories often contain substantial amount of cholesterol. The stones cause inflammation, if muscular gallbladder tries to expel them, blockage of the bile ducts by the stones may cause pain, additional inflammation, or jaundice (yellowing). Just buy a bag and try it out - there's nothing to loose. They definitely draw fluids out of the skin, so its likely that toxins excreted through the skin will also be removed. However, a steam bath or sauna is more effective than Epsom salts for this purpose. I've used these before to ease aches and pains, and they are wonderful, and I've also read that they are promoted as part of many different "body cleanse" styles of diets (to remove toxins and suchlike). You should be aware that a hot bath of epsom salts causes blood pressure to increase and also causes tiredness. You shouldn't stay in the bath too long, I'd recommend discussing it with your doctor if you have any concerns. For me, it's part of moving my gall bladder stone. I've experienced to do that with "Dr.Chiu-Nan Lai" prescription (just copy paste this name to google search; Dr.Chiu-Nan Lai ) then following the instructions. Thanks to Dr.Chiu Nan Lai Epsom Salts contain mercury. I found this out recently from my son's doctor. Use a mercury free magnesium sulfate cream ( Kirkman's Labs) sells this. Many parents with autistic children have used this to remove toxins and increase the body's sulfation process. If you still want to use it place 1 -2 cups in a hot water bath and soak for at least 30 minutes. I'm not kidding about the mercury. Bleach has mercury in it also so remember to wear gloves. |
