How can I get tested for Mad Cow disease (Crutzfeld-Jakob) on a budget? |
Red Cross said I may have been exposed to Mad Cow disease in Europe in the 80's. they won't take my blood donation and don't test for it. where/how can I get tested for this on a budget (no insurance)? Why get tested? It's not like they can do anything to treat you if you have the disease anyways. Red Cross is being a bit paranoid since they don't want to be sued. I'm sure you are fine, unless you start finding yourself eating hay. Moo! Do you have a public health department that would help you out with this? I hope you can find someone to do the tests for you. You're fine. |
