Mad Cow Disease... ?

I've heard of mad cow disease from my Social Studies teacher. Since milk comes from cows, will it also contain mad cow disease?

Yes, You can get mad cow disease from dairy cows OR beef cows.

My mother-in-law knew someone who died of mad cow disease, and needless to say - I am now a vegetarian.
