Mad cow disease, E-coli...ect?

Is there a connection. Did you know that feeding a Cow saw dust and chicken poop makes them convert the wood to energy faster? Some resoruces say that this type of feeding has caused the Beef in the cow to bee nasty.
Could this feeding be the cause of Mad Cow?

Well, Mad Cow is caused by an irregularly shaped Prion.
I think the only way that diet would have an effect is if you were feeding cow to other cows.
To the best of my knowledge this practice is being eliminated.I don't know of any connection between e coli and mad cow. One is a bacteria, the other is not.
