Mad cow disease.?

Well, it was here for a while, and then it was gone. Your thoughts.

Oh good, I thought you were asking for mad cow.

they named pms, pms, because this was already taken!

It's at my house every evening!!

Did you know it's caused by Cow-cannibalism?

Yup, when the farmers grind up cow leftovers and mix it up with the cattle's food, it twists their mind and infects their meat.

Messed up stuff.

Just media hyperreporting. You are no more/less likely to contract the disease now than you were before. The nationwide survey being conducted by the USDA is a joke b/c it tests such an extremely small percentage of the bovines processed for human consumption.

Unless you eat the following, you are in no danger:
Brain
spinal cord
nerve tissue
lymph nodes
eyelids

Don't know why you would eat them anyways! But to each their own. You can't 'cook' it out either.

Mad cow is here to stay and growing but is being swept under the rug for obvious political/financial reasons. The above poster is wrong. Any part of the cow can transmit the prion (mad cow is a caused by a prion). It is even in geletin (jello), geletin capsules, etc. Also prions cannot be destroyed by heat, chemicals, or anything else for that matter.
I would hope your life would be more important to you than the immediate gratification you receive from eating a hamburger. If not then that's pretty sad.
