I think my brother has mad cow disease, is there a cure? please tell!? No cure. And sometimes it doesn't show up for like 20 years after you've eaten the meat. You couldn't pay me enough to eat beef again! Mad Cow Disease if I am not mistaken is also known as Hand, Foot and mouth disease. A family member of mine had this recently and it is a virus that will run its course in due time. how did he get that? Did he eat english or canadian beef? Don't know much about it here since only a few people ever end up getting it. I honestly don't know. I don't mean to make fun if he does have it, but Denny Crane on Boston Legal claims he has it when he can't remember something. Is your brother doing this? Mad Cow Disease is actually called Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy. There is some suspicion, though still not proven, that this condition can be passed on to humans. In humans, however, it's called new variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (vCJD). |
