Mad Cow, well, not exatcly, a Bull?

I have a friend who tried to kill his bull for butchering. He shot in the head and didn't kill it. God, that bull went mad as hell.
Shoud he eat it now? Does it have mad cow disease?

No, the bull doesn't have mad cow disease. He was just hurt. BSE is caused from cattle eating meat by-products in their food. If he manages to actually kill the bull, it will be fine to eat. If it is an older bull (I'm talking several years old), he may want it all ground up into hamburger as bull meat is too tough to have steaks made up.

Hehe! Are you serious? Mad cow disease is just the colloqiual name for BSE (Bovine spongiform encephalopathy). It has nothing to do with cows getting mad, well, actually, it has, but the other way around. Cows can get mad because of BSE, but they don't get BSE because they get mad.
