Macular Degeneration?? help please!!?

my dad have been complaining about a black spot blurring his vision this morning... he nvr had experienced anything like that till this morning.. i've done some research and we knoe it's wet macular degeneration..SO is it possible to know how long has this disease been inside my dad till this morning?

You should get him to a doctor ASAP.

I don't know I know my Grandmother has had it, and it makes your eye sight worse and worse overtime. Laser surgery won't work trust me. We took my Grandma and it didn't work. I think you need to go to the doctor to find out for sure though, or call Dr. Dean Edell on KGO.

probably his whole life...but it shows up in your 50's (or so...) meds and surgery can help...so take him to an eye Dr...

go to an eye Dr =they take pictures of the inside of your eyes now and you can find out that way how much longer Dad will have his sight =good luck
