I want copies of my MRI scans (UK), any one know where I should start?

With your consultant or GP I suppose.

you should be able to request a copy through your doc

Go to the facility where you had the test performed, or contact them by phone if you have moved. Most facilities will either give you a copy of the test on a disc or a copy of the film. You paid for that test and the images are yours, you are entitled to a copy.

I had an MRI scan done on 10th October and the hospital has made me an appointment for the results on 3rd January.When I called my doc for the results he said I would get them from the hospital.Hope this helps.

i always get copies where i had my mri's done. most places u have to call at least 24 hours in advance so they can have them ready for u to pick up

i think you have to pay to actually have a copy, you could ask when you get yout results from the hospital or GP.

You need to get in touch with the hospital that carried out the procedure. They will send a form for you to complete which you return with the fee (usually around 拢10). You should then get the information you need within 4 weeks.

I work in radiology and we can make a copy onto a disc if the patient phones us and asks. It costs 拢20 in our hospital xx
