Is MDMA being used to treat veterans with PTSD?

Someone told me that MDMA is being used to treat veterans with PTSD. MDMA is a class I medication this would have to be done in a research capacity. Do you know of any VA hospitals who have done this? Do you have links to journal articles about this?

I am thinking this is probably a false statement and have done a limited literature search myself and have come up with nothing so far.

Please let me know if MDMA is currently being researched and if yes where and for what? Also if you know of any journal articles please let me know.

I am trying to figure out if this is true of just wishful thinking for a culture who likes MDMA.

Please give me any info that is more than rumor or if this is ilicit use.
