MDMA...Ecstacy?

So Im thinking of taking "the love drug" with my boyfriend tonight at a party. This is my first time doing anything hardcore, Ive only drank and gotten high before. Im a little nervous, what happens when I take it? What are the side effects? and can I die? What if I only take a half? Please respond quickly! The party is in a few hours!!

you can easily die. not because mdma is horribly unsafe, but because supplies are often adulterated. know your mind/body/source.

i wouldn't reccomend taking it at a party unless you're all very close. it can get intense.

Make sure someone else has tried one of those same pills recently and lived through the night without stroking out or something. Start with half. You will probably want many more. BTW- if you put a glowstick in the microwave for 10secs it gets REALLY bright!!

Ok, here is the deal.

1st, don't listen to all the people who said "don't do drugs"

I'm not encouraging you to do drugs, but it's for you to decide.

2nd, take a whole or your first time will be lame.

3rd, drink tons of water. you will get really hot and your brain will fry if you don't.

I have done ecstacy 10 plus times and have not died.
I think that is bull. I don't think you could die from it if you drink water.

I agree with Adam R. Why not research extacy and find out about the risks. If you only take one I doubt you will have many problems. People who die from extacy usually take multiple doses at a rave, dance all night long and don't drink any water. They die from over heating and dehydration.
Remember that MDMA is a drug that was originally used in counseling to make people more open to their feelings.
What it will feel like: You get really empathetic towards others feelings, you will feel very open to your own feelings. Objects looks really "neat" and it's fun to look at them. Trance music sounds great (I'm not really sure why but it does), It feels good to be touched, try chewing a piece of mint gum, it tastes great. Don't eat a meal before you do it (at least 4 hours) and drink sugary drinks while you take it, like gatorade.
Take half but it probably won't do much.
I'm not saying you should do it, but I do believe some drugs are safer than others, and its not like you are doing heroin or meth or something.
