Lymphoma???

What are the chances of people dying from non-hodgkins lymphoma without any treatment, just pain killers only?

While pain killers will numb pain, it will do nothing to stop the disease progression. Without treatment, the disease will grow, how fast or slow depends on type of lymphoma. Lymphoma is a disease of the immune system and eventually the person would be unable to fight off infections and would die or the cancer would metastasize to a life threatening location. How long this would take would depend on type of cancer.

So, the chances of dying without treatment are 100%

Hi ...my dad had non Hodgkin's lymphoma and it has to be treated with Chemo, no amount of painkillers will help ... my dad was diagnosed in the early 80s and endured a high dosage of Chemo, it went into remission for 11 years but he was monitored regular, it then came back and was treated with Chemo again, in 2000 it came back again but they were unable to treat as he was at the final stage and passed away, they gave my dad morphine when he was terminally ill, but they would not give you just painkillers cancer like NHL has to be treated with chemo
