After mild chikungunya,do the lymphatic capillaries of vital organs also rejenuvate as normal cells do? |
I heard after a mild attack of chickungunya, normal cells rejenuvate.Do the cells of vital organs also do so?Does the disease prove to be fatal in severe conditions as those cells dont rejenuvate?Plz tell me. Vital organs are not generally affected by this disease, it is in the arthritic class of virii. While the disease has proven fatal in some parts of India, it is not due to failure of those organs, usually it is due to a severe generalized inflammatory response. Most who contract it recover fully inside ten days. |
