Can someone advice me... ?I'm still worried about my health...?

Thank you for your answers, but I want to ask if someone ever had similar health problems with lymphatic nodes swollen near the neck. If it is because of some virus, then I should feel bad and have a cold. Now I fell perfectly well. So therefore I am afraid that this can be a symptom of some serious disease. Now I 've become really hypochondriac

Well I have never had issues with swollen lymphatic nodes, however:

When to Seek Medical Care

Inflamed nodes themselves are not a major concern, but if you have symptoms of some other condition along with enlarged lymph nodes, discuss this with your doctor.

Certain conditions warrant a call to your doctor:

* If the swelling of the nodes lasts for more than 2 weeks or you have any symptoms such as weight loss, night sweats, fatigue, or prolonged fever

* If the nodes are hard, fixed to the skin, or are growing rapidly

* If you can feel swelling close to your collarbone or in the lower part of the neck

* If the overlying skin is red and inflamed and you suspect an infection

The diagnosis of swollen nodes rarely requires emergency hospital treatment. The exceptions to this include a growing infection of the skin that requires treatment, a severely infected lymph node that needs to be drained, or severe pain.

Hey,

more than likely, if you are not running a fever and the lymph nodes aren't tender and red, then you are fine... Do you have a little guilt at the minute about some sex you have had? Possibly unprotected? It's hard to tell based on your question whats going on with you.. Lymph nodes can swell with stress and for a whole load of reasons though,

G Luck

I had that and thought I was dying. When I went to the doctor, it turned out to be cat scratch fever, which goes away by itself. If you have swollen lymph nodes, by all means get them checked out if they don't go down after a short period of time.

I can tell you that i have the same thing going on as we speak i am having all kinds of diagnostic tests to find out why..i don't know if the glands in your neck that are swollen are on the sides of your neck near your ear or further down near to tops of the shoulder..either way it is an indication that the area near the swelling has some kind of problem.I found out mine are due to a growth on my thyroid gland.
please don't be afraid just go to the doctor and show him/her and give them as much information about any other symptoms of lifestyle changes. it is way better to catch something early than to wait until it gets worse. good luck

Cold and flu season, lymph nodes doing their job, relax, take some Contact C
