Lymph Nodes???

Do you have lymph nodes beside your armpit? I think one of mine might be swollen. Could someone please explain on here what they are.

Lymph nodes are located under the arm pit, throat, groin and tonsils are lymph nodes too.

They perform 2 tasks - 1. control the drainage of lymph fluid (the body's waste system), 2. production of white blood cells & T-cells critical in fighting infection - immune system.

Lymph is the body's tissue fluid, also known as plasma. It is the mechanism for keeping tissues moist and removing natural waste products and toxins. The lymph nodes are critical in draining the lymph fluids to remove toxins. Without the lymph nodes you'll die of toxic overlaod leading to failure of key organs such as the liver.

Lymph nodes swell up when you have an infection as they are working to produce the defence and immunity needed to keep you alive. Often, if you have flu, your throat will swell just under the lower jaw bone - that's your lymph nodes fighting infection.

Eczema (skin condition) is caused by toxic overload due to a slow lymphatic system and weak liver/kidneys. The toxic overload comes from colonic blockages!

So there you are - lymph nodes keep you alive!

I had a feel around my armpit and cant find nothing.

But maybe its different for boys and grils i dont know?

Yes, you have them in your armpits, chest, neck, thighs and upper leg areas too. I actually had one removed in my leg years ago because it got infected and swollen from Cat Scratch Fever..yes it does actually exist, lol. Lymph nodes trap infections and bacterias in your body. I would definitely get it checked out!
