Lymph Nodes NECK !? |
When I was young about 14 I started getting lymph nodes near my vagina area, welll what I thought was that but it turned out to be just cyst from shaving ingrown hairs. But anyways now Im 18 and for the past 3 years I been getting swollen lymph nodes in my neck and armpit once in awhile, it seems like everytime im sick I get it. When I went to my doc he told me that this is normal and not to worry about it. About almost a year ago, I got a full blood count test on everything and a urine test too. They said all my resluts came back normal and I didnt need another blood test. Im wondering if I should be worried because I hear that lymph nodes can also relate to cancer and hiv and stuff like that When I was in 8th grade, I caught a bad case of pneumonia and my lymph nodes swelled up like crazy. now, like 8 years later, my left one is still swollen. i've asked my doctor a few times and gotten tons of bloodwork done and it all came back normal, sometimes that just happens. The main job of your lymph nodes is to fight infections, so it's normal that they get inflamed when you're sick. Since you've already been to the doctor and had blood tests, don't worry about it. |
