Lymph nodes?

Can Depression/Stress or anxiety be related to lymph node swelling? What is normal size of nodes?

The lymphatic system is the waste collection system of the body. If you are fighting off an infection or cold, you could have some swollen glands. Additionally, you can have a blocked duct causing swelling within the node. If you are under a lot of stress, your immune system can be down a little and you may be noticing the nodes more. They can range in size from a few mm to 1-2cm.

no.. there r no cases tht i v heard of lymph nodes due to stress tht is... but they can aris edue to small infections in the body.. like ticks in hair can cause lymph nodes of head n neck to swell..

normal size of the nodes differ accordin to the region of the bdy
like in head.. upto 0.5 cms
axilla, groin.. upto 1 cms
but they should be mobile soft non-tender nodes to be called normal

Stress doesn't help matters, but I don't think stress alone can cause lymph node swelling. There may be another source. See a doctor if you have any doubt.
