Groin lymph nodes and pain during sex?

Not sure if the "pain" I get during sex is related to my 2 swollen lymph nodes in my groin area where my underware line is. I've had swollen lymph nodes there for a little over a month. I have some pain/discomfort during sex that seems to stem from the same side of the lymph nodes. Could these two be related? Any ideas on what's going on here. I also am very tired all the time, but I just started taking effexor about 2 weeks ago. Any ideas anyone?

It sounds like some kind of infection. Do NOT postpone getting a check up.

okay, first off..do you have an STD or some other infection...explaining the swollen lymph nodes? (Doesnt have to be an std but maybe) I would go to the doctor immediately to be checked for infection because you DONT want Pelvic inflammatory disease. You can ruin any chances of having babies. It would explain pain during sex...the underwear will put pressure on the area so it will aggrevate it also.
As far as the Effexor :P I HATE that stuff..I never went through all of the sleep cycles and I had night terrors with it. I was a walking zombie on that stuff.

See a doctor ASAP.
