Swollen lymph nodes????

I am 20 years old. I have OCD and a phobia of HIV.

I have been sick with cold/flu like symptoms and I have really bad sinuses and allergies. I went to the doctor and he told me that all of these symptoms were from allergies. Gave me some pills to take yadah yadah. I have taken some of the pills and the symptoms of let up some.

However, I have some small swollen lymph nodes. They are like....gigantic and you can't see them...just fell them (that is how small they are.)

As I said above, I have OCD and a phobia of HIV. I am a virgin. I do not use IV drugs. and my parents are completely healthy. I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend for 4 years and he is also a virgin.

I am always scared I will contract the virus from day to day life some weird way and I have read that swollen lymph nodes are symptoms of HIV. I just have the 2 small ones on my right side.

Is this HIV?

Someone please help?

Is this normal considering that I have bad allergies with Texas weather?

You need to find a good psychiatrist for your OCD. Life isnt fun when you worry about things constantly. Your OCD could also be part of a chemical inbalance within your body, in which meds would benifit you greatly. I hate taking pills, but they have helped tremendously, its like a weight being lifted off you.
_NO, your chances of getting hit by a car next time your outside are higher than your chance on getting HIV ( based on u being a virgin, none drug IV/needle user, etc)
