Sore lymph nodes under my chin?

One of my lymph nodes under my chin is sore.

I just had a absessed tooth infection removed. Could my soreness of my lymph be due to this? I know the lymph nodes are supposed to fight off infection..

Yes it could. Is the swelling going down after tooth removal and antibiotics? If so that was it.
