Has anyone had lyme disease? |
Ok I have been sick for 3 years my I have taken blood test for all three years and my docor only said I had mono for 2 years this year I have no trace of mono. The last blood test I got they said that they found lyme disease but it wasn't in a large amount so I have to get tested again to see if I have it or not. What I am wondering is, would it be possible to have lyme for 3 years and it never shown up in my blood test till now? I have had the same symtoms for 3 years and now that I looked at the symtoms of lyme I think it is possbile that I have it. The main symtom is that I get muscle pain and joint pain mostly early in morning when I wake up early which when I went to school was every day and now that I am out of school I sleep alot more but like today when I woke up early I get pains. I do get pains on my left side of my chest which is a symtom of lyme. What I want to know is if I had it for this long is it curable? If not what will the rest of my life be like? How would it effect I was diagnosed with Lyme 8 years ago and probably was never completely cured as I have good spells of time and then followed by terrible ones. I can't offer medical advice but I would make sure you get all the proper tests. If you have had it for a long time it is harder to get rid of but if you find a Lyme literate MD, they should be able to help you. There are some good sites, Lymenet.org for one with lots of info. Good luck and hang in there. I'm not sure if anyone really knows all the answers. by Asker this web page has some good information for you! |
