Can Lyme disease cause problems with glucose?

I have just been diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease and have been having Blood glucose issues as well. Is this a symptom of the disease

It could be. I was dx w/it in 91. 2 rounds of meds...it left me w/Fibromyalgia & then alot of other health issues.
Lymes disease is a nasty illness.
