Could I have lyme disease?

Ok so my parents wanted to get me checked for lyme disease a bit ago and I really didnt think anything about it untill I started looking up the effects of it.

When I started comparing the effects and what I had I noticed that I had headaches every so often and I was getting some rashes and alot of red dots that are kinda like pimple, but also my neck has been killing me and so have my muscles, I also compete in track and lately I have been really tired and dont have the energy I usally do, also one last thing, my eye feels like it is twitching and this only happens when im tired and Ive had plenty of sleep this past few days. Is there a chance I have lyme disease?

Unfortunately, those sound like some of the symptoms of Lyme Disease to me. Please make sure you get checked out by your doctor as soon as possible. It's easier to treat while it's still early.

Its hard to say, some of these "symptoms" could be from something else not so serious. But you can never be to sure of anything and you should go get it check out just in case.

Lyme disease can have many different kinds of symptoms, including those that you mentioned. Diagnosing Lyme disease is also difficult because the blood tests can give false negatives and the symptoms are so vague and diffuse. The giveaway sign of lyme disease is the appearance of a bulls-eye shaped rash at the site of a tick bite which radiates outward and spreads. Have you ever noticed anything like that? Also, lyme disease does not occur in most parts of the US because the deer tick, which is responsible for carrying lyme disease, only inhabits certain areas (mainly the northeast US). Only your doctor can tell you if you have lyme disease but be aware that the symptoms you listed could have any number of causes: allergies, stress, even anxiety or depression.
