Could it be Lupus?

Ok I have antiphosphilipid syndrome just found out I have had 4 miscarriages and a stillbirth. When you get pregnant they do std test and ever since I was 16 I tested false for syphillis up until 21/2 years ago I thoght nothing of it but became curious as to why I did that I get sick alot with headaches, body pain, my nose turns red and just barely on my cheeks I get these pains in my legs that are so bad I can't walk now with this pregnancy they are saying antiphosphilipid syndrome when I looked that up it says related to lupus and 50% of lupus patients develope this I am not satisfied with this diagnoses I still think it's lupus am I wrong to really think this should I keep testing to know for sure I know there is no real test I just think this is something I developed as well everything points to lupus does anyone have the same problem or know what I can do I'd really appreciate it.

It sounds like lupus. go to a rheumatologist specialist. my best friend died from this awful disease. i knew something was wrong with her. she had this unhealthy rash and she lost some hair. when they found out what it was it was too late. her entire system shut down. anyway going fwd i was checking the symptoms out because my little one has some on going joint pain and she was ref'd to a rheumatologist too in two wks. one of the symptoms is not being able to carry a child. check with a rheumatologist specialist. Please go and get evaulated..

Well i have lupus and these symptoms do sound like it but for the most part it deals with joint pain, tiredness, looking pale and kindey issues...but also the redness can be part of flare episodes ..the test is called ANA which is weird b/c thats my name but u should get it done..good luck Report It

Here's a tip: It's never lupus.

It's probably just APS, which is more common than lupus. Just because lupus patients develop APS-like symptoms does not mean that APS means you have lupus. APS is perfectly capable of making you miserable on its own, thankyouverymuch.

Read below for information on APS, especially with regards to treatment (i've linked straight to the treatment section).
