I have COPD, Interstitial Lung Disease,Fibrosis.pain under shoulder blade..Could my diseases be causing this..

I suffer from Pulmonary Fibrosis as well and the pain you are describing is something I experience quite often. Most IPF patients experience chest pain and it can become quite severe at times. It would be a good idea to discuss this with your pulmonary specialist. Proper pain management can help with the quality of life you have left. It is also a good idea to make sure the pain is not associated with your heart.

As your disease progresses, you may see the right side of your heart enlarge. This leads to a condition called DHF (diastolic heart failure). DHF can cause edema (fluid retention) and also has a pain component with it that needs to be addressed as a separate issue. Again, my best advice would be to discuss this pain with your physician as soon as possible. I am sorry you have ILD and hope you find some relief to your pain soon.
