About Interstitial Lung Disease and Pulmonary Fibrosis?

I know little about this lung disease... I know my Grandma died from it in 2005 and I decided to write one of my course essays about it but I can't find the following thing out and I need to know:

who discovered it

when was the first case reported

what are are the different names for this disease pertaining to the stage of the disease or cause

Spend some time on these sites looking around. There is a tremendous amount of infomation on them.
