Lung cancer :(? |
My dad used to be a cook at a chinese restaurant and the cooking is very smoky so he was breathing all of that like 10 hours a day. he recently quitted and then his voice started getting cracky. it was really hard for him to talk. my dad went to his doctor then a few days ago, they performed a biopsy. idk what a biopsy is but they also took out something bad from his throat and they found cancer cells in it. is this lung cancer? if not, what is it? and is there any way it can be treated? My mother has lung cancer....she had it 2 years ago and they got rid of it. Now it has come back. The person that answered before me is correct. If they took the sample from his throat then more than likely it wasnt lung cancer, maybe throat. Lung cancer is no joke, not to scare you or anything. We have been through hell with mom, or I should say she has been through hell. Good luck and I hope it all works out for the best. A biopsy just means that they extracted some tissue for analysis. hi |
