Lung cancer and the respiratory tract......?.....really need help....?

Lung cancer?
i am studying about lung cancer...i am wondering where the tumor begins in the bronchus/bronchioles......how cigarette smoke affects the mucous layer..........why does the mucous layer decreses in size....why does the build-up of tar in the bronchi limit air flow....why does the spreading of cancer make it dangerous......what happens to the cancerous cells after they spread...... all this questions are related to the lung cancer. i am in grade 12 and i need help.....

any help would be greatly appreciated.....please give me a detailed answer.....

it begins in the bronchus it blocks it ...so it is harder for the air to get in....

you have a lot of questions there, well first off a tumor doesnt begin in just one place it can start anywhere, a tumor is when a cell starts dividing uncontrollably and doesnt do anything kinda like a stem cell........cigarette smoke eventually wears down the mucous layer because it is usually hot and just melts it away...........tar limits air flow because not only is there tar in the lungs and bronchi there is also our own bodily defences and after a while it gets pretty crouded,. and when cancer matastisizes (spreads) it means that it has to move because it has already consumed everything where it is and the only way for it to stay is to spread kinda like humans on the earth..........

not all lung cancer is caused by cigarette smoking either. My mother did not smoke and was rarely exposed to it and developed a lung cancer that is common in folks who don't smoke.
