Regarding Lung Cancer?

I am 27 years old, smoker for 8 years, roughly a pack a day, found tiny nodule on left side of lower lung, lung cancer does not run in the family, so scared I have it though what are the chances that I have lung cancer?

Yes, you should get yourself checked out as soon as possible, but it does not have to be cancer so don't flip out. But if I were you I would quit because even though cancer does not run in your family it can start with you. Also if you have or are planing to have children smoking increases the risk of lung cancer in them through second hand smoking.
good luck and I wish you well
