Chances of Lung Cancer?

I know I ask alot of questions because I worry too much, but lately I've been kinda on and off worrying about secondhand smoke.

I didn't worry about it since school started in sept, because I am not really living at home. I'm 18 and I'm away at college, but when I come home, both my parents smoke. I've grown up with it since i was probably born, I've seen videos of when I was little and my parents were smoking.

And I've becomed more worried about getting lung cancer because talking to my boyfriend, he's really concerned about it. He gets me to tell my mom that I prefer her not to smoke around me. But it doesn't work.

But for my question, I can't seem to find it on google, and searching for it on here I noticed that women are more likely to obtain lung cancer.

I was wondering:

How likely is that I would have some type of lung cancer and if I did go to the doctor, what would be the chances they find anything, because it can take awhile to develop

You could buy a HEPA air filter and keep it in your room, and keep the door closed and try to spend most of your time at home in your room. That might help.

Get good exercise and eat well, including LOTS of fruits and veggies. When you're in a position to do so, get your own apartment/flat. Then you're more in control of your environment.

Try not to worry too much. Keep yourself healthy, that's the best prevention for any disease.

Look into "the Laws of attraction" the things you worry about most you bring to you. Learn to be positive not negative. Learn to be happy not sad. There is good in every bad thing that happens in the world. You may not see it, but it's there.
