After having a lumpectomy three years ago followed by chemo and radiation has anyone had long term effects.?

I had radiation three years ago on my breast after a lumpectomy, recently I seem to be having problems with fluid build up in the cavity where the tumor was taken from. I was wondering if anyone else has had any side long term side effects, and can they inform me what side effects they are experiencing.

Swelling of the extremities, fatigue, depression, mood changes, sleeplessness and hot flashes. Some people have pain in the joints, osteoporosis and fractures. Hormone therapy works for some people but I do not believe it helps vs the side effects. Your doctor can treat the fluid build up either by draining or medication.

The outcome of a lumpectomy depends on the type of lump found. If the lump is benign, the outcome is usually without complications. If the lump is cancerous, the outcome depends on the type and extent of the tumor's spread.
Depending on the circumstances, a lumpectomy followed by radiation therapy to the breast yields the same long-term survival as a mastectomy.
