Have you received a lumpectomy & gone on to live a life, cancer free? |
How did you feel right after surgery? Was there a lot of pain? How long did it last? I had a 2 centimeter area removed, lump was 1.5 total, 4 lymph nodes taken also. Hardly any pain that I recall. I have 2 weeks left of radiation. I feel a little tired on occasion but nothing terrible. I have had a slight rash on/off throughout radiation. Good Luck & God Bless! You is gettin' a lumpectomy, eh? Cool beans, baby girl, whada! I have not but my mother in law has and she is doing good. just do what your doctor tells you dont be afraid to get second opinions and learn all you can about holistic treatments for your situation. I think there may be some pain not sure. but its usually a relatively routine proceedure. I don't think it should be too bad. Are you getting chemo or just radiation? If just radiation you are lucky. Much will depend on how much they remove but with pain killers it probably won't be too bad at all. I don't think the radiation will hurt at all either. You should visit www.dna911.info and check out the information on a natural nutritional supplement called Beta1,3-D Glucan. It is a primary cancer treatment in Japan and China It has shown remarkable anti-tumor activity against a wide range of tumors. It also helps people undergoing radiation therapy or chemotherapy by boosting the immune system.Hope this helps you. I haven't, but my wife has. She had her first lumpectomy about 40 years ago and another in the last several years. |
