How long does it take to recover from a lumpectomy??

How long does it take to recover from a lumpectomy??

You body needs time to heal after any invasive procedure the length of time varies with a number of things, how healthy is your immune system etc. I would ask the surgeon! Good Luck!

IF you are in good health and there are no post surgical complications, the stitches come out usually 1 week to 10 DAYS after surgery, and then you will still be a LITTLE sore for a while... I was back to work 3 days later but then had to leave when I got a bad infection---NOT ALL PEOPLE GET INFECTIONS so don't start worrying over nothing...... If I remember correctly, It was about 10 days before I stopped being really sore... and maybe a MONTH before the pain was forgetful.....it might take shorter for you without complications....be patient, you will be healed when you are HEALED!!!!

No two people recover at the same rate.
