Santa Paula, California? |
The question I have is, When does the American Cancer Society put on their Cure for Cancer Walk ? I was diagnosed with Ductal Carcinoma - situ last year in September, to be exact Breast Cancer. I found the lump myself during a breast self check myself. I was at 0-1 stage, which is very rare. American Cancer Society usually will have women call in at their 3-4 stage searching for answers, organizations. I have had a lumpectomy back in September of 2006, and another surgery in October 2006. I requested to stay in the hospital until I knew I would be able to get around without any assistance. My request was granted. Thanks to my Surgeon here in Santa Paula. I just finished a 7 week everyday, 20 minutes Radiation Treatment in Ventura, CA. I feel great and have a Positive way of being Cancer Free. I have felt as if their is no connection with me and this terrible Decease. I still attend daily cancer support groups throughout Ventura County, and have met some incredible courageous people. I think it is in September or around that time of year |
