Dizzy. vision loss. Mild twitching. Also short of breath when standing. Anyone know what is going on?

Ok, I am about 5'4 and 125 lbs. I am by no means overweight. My blood pressure was just checked today, and I was told it was perfect. Maybe on the low side though.

Anyways now on to my question.
Ever since I can remember I have been getting light headed. If I stand it happens. If I move my head to the side it happens. It starts with the vision loss. Everything is black. It sounds as if there is a train going through my ears. Sometimes I fall to my knees and uncontrollably twitch. Almost like I am head banging. As my vision is re-stored (this is the part I hate the most) The pain comes. Strong and fierce to blows through my brain. I swear my skull is shattering into a million peices with each throb. Then after about 1 mintue the whole ordeal is over and I can go on with my day.

Also I have noticed that while I am standing in line, I get really short of breath and light headed. I have always looked at people standing there so happily and I wonder why I, have to be sitting.

You need to see a neurologist...now. Call and tell them your symptoms and they will get you in ASAP.

Wow, you really need to see a physician. The sooner the better. This sounds quite serious, nothing to mess around with. But, if you just had your blood pressure checked, did you not mention all these symptoms? Or was your blood pressure checked somewhere other than at a physician's office? Either way, please seek medical attention!

You could have asthma.

Were you standing, sitting, or lying down when your blood pressure was checked? It should be checked lying down and then standing up...if your pulse increases and your blood pressure drops standing up you have orthostasis which might be due to some dehydration...this should be checked by a Primary Care Doc.

If your pulse does not increase or your blood pressure doesn't drop on standing...Does it feel like the room is spinning? If so, it could be Benign Positional Vertigo and I would see a Neurologist.
