I have been dealing with palpations, fast hr and low oxygen upon excertion?
I feel as if my condition is getting worse. i have black vision everytime i change positions. I feel as if the docs are in no rush to get me better as i feel as if i am getting worse. I am 22 years old with a pacemaker and oxygen( only when needed). i still have 2 wait 2 weeks more before i see a lung specialists to clear me for another sinus node ablation of my heart. What stall i do to help speed up the process? I do not know if depression is contributing to this worsing.

Why are you 22 years old with a pacemaker? There is obviously a chronic cardiac/pulmonary disease process going on..have they given you a diagnosis? Have you ever had an angiogram to measure pulmonary arterial pressure? I need more information to give you guidance. But obviously you need to find a new cardiologist! To speed up the process go to an emergency room and tell them your symptoms and past medical history. I see no reason for them to not monitor you for at least 23 hours on a heart monitor. Something could be up with your pacer since that should really take care of the tachycardia and palpitations. Do you have a congenital heart defect? I'd really like to know how things work out for you, we're the same age and I've had my share of cardiologists and pulmonologists! (lung specialist)

Do not panic.depression is your worst enemy.Start breathing slowly and deeply.you feel better

Go to a better doctor. NOW. One with a specialization in pulmonary cardiology. My cardiologist started me on magnesium oxide for my palpitations. Works great. But talk to your doc before taking anything.
It would be a good idea to keep nitroglycerin with you at all times.

Tell your cardiologist right away that you are having black vision. That is worrisome. Maybe there is something else the cardiologist can do before the sinus node ablation.

You need to call the doc and describe your symptoms. If they still won't take you, then go to the ER. Sounds like you need to be monitored and fast. Black vision, every time you change positions, is NOT normal .Low oxygen levels means that oxygenated blood is not getting to your vital organs. Or at least not enough of it. Your heart is not pumping correctly for some reason. You could have an arrhythmia going on and you would need medication to treat it and soon.
