Does low blood sugar cause me to have 'repetitive negative thoughts? |
Just wanted to know if 'low blood sugar will cause me to have repetitive/obsessively negative thinking? I've got diabetes 2 and I am on metformin and i don't really have any low sugar symptoms except for this problem. Bridget, No it shouldn't. No, but could you be depressed due to knowing that you have a chronic lifelong disease with a lot of uncertainty - such as complications in the future - for you, and not having had enough time to digest this emotionally? I have that problem sometimes. I drink green tea, it helps quite a bit. I drink it on ice. I also recommend that you check out a few other herbs as well: Ginko, Gaba, Kava, and 5-htp. no it wont, it might make you feel a little bit tired and listless but nothing else should occur Yes it's depression and alot of diabetic's that dont control thier sugar levels have a problem with depression I have the same problem I'm type 2. You need to eat even if you dont feel like eating force yourself. After you eat your energy level will increese and you will feel better but you need to monitor your sugar on a regular basis make sure it's not below 100 or above 160. This problem is plain old depression. You said your self that your sugar is not low. Yes sometimes we can pull ourselves up by our boot straps, but most of time we need professional help. Check it out. exersise is the cheapest form of self help. Try it , can't hurt. Get out with friends. Have a small scoup of your favorite ice cream. Keep on pluggin' |
