Low blood sugar feeling? shakey/instant sweats/ dizzy/ blurry vision at times ??

I try to eat somehat balanced meals and on a regular basis, I can get the "low bllod sugar feeling" any where from right before I eat , after I eat, Hours after I eat, doesn't seem to matter when I ate. I talked to my doctor and he said, sounds like you have low blood sugar, kinda felt like he brushed it off and he told me to eat more, keep crackers with me.... Yeah Cracker's don't work. I bought some glucose tablets from the drug store and chew them when I've had this feeling but it doesn't always help-- if i wait long enough the feeling eventually passes, but it can take up to an hour. So question is..Do I need to be concerned, should I have some type of test done?

First of all, if that's how your doctor treats you, find a better one! Are you sure you're not diabetic? These people tend to have low sugar levels at times due to the effects of medications. Diabetics in the hospital I work at are often times reminded to ALWAYS bring candies with them. Chocolates are not recommended since it contains fats that isn't easily absorbed by the body...diabetics need simple sugars when they're hypoglycemic.

try eating some chocolate or drinking a little deal of juice. You should get tested for diabetes, espesially if it runs in your family

If you're not a diabetic on diabetic medication you could be hypoglycemic. That's the opposite, instead of having high blood sugar after meals you have low blood sugar. The condition can be diagnosed by a simple blood test. There are several reasons behind hypoglycemia, yes I would be concerned.
