two things, I will wager you don't drink enough water, and I'll bet you don't eat enough potassium rich foods. Twitching and jerking like that happens when the muscles are starving for the correct nutrients. You need to be drinking a minimum of two liters of water a day, and eating like a half cup of raisins a day (they are richest in potassium).

go to a doctor now!!

if you are really concerned go to another doctor for another opinion. its possible they looked over something- but who knows it could just be because you are growing. the muscles could just be tensing because they aren't used to the current situation. I wouldnt be too worried, I think you would be seeing other symptoms if it was anything too terribly serious. That doesn't mean a problem doesn't exist though, just ask another doctor and if this one says your fine just wait it out for a while and i bet it goes away.

oh jeesh, i only work in a shop. thats all us people really do - you can't ask us! but please stop worrying. go and see the doctor again and ask him for his diagnosis of why he thought you were fine. he probably has good reason to believe it.

Get some pure water into you and follow this with bananas and sultanas, its sounds very much like a deficiency.
But also go back to your GP for a good check up.
Good luck.

If you think it is serious and just can't get it out of your head, then go to another doctor and see what they say. If they say everything is fine, then maybe it is all in your head.

You may have Restless Leg Syndome. Not all doctors know how to diagnose this. Is is worse in the evening? Is it relieved by moving around? Then it may be RLS. You may need to be tested at a Sleep Disorder Clinic. One reason your parents and doctor may not be figuring it out is that it may not be happening when you go to the doctor because it may not be the time of day when it happens. You should try to allert your folks when it is actually happening so that they can see it and describe it to the doctor. If it happens at school the school nurse may be able to help put you on the path to treatment. As to the stiffness, that sounds more like Arthritis. That is something that most people get sooner or later, but getting it at 15 would be a real problem. Look when you feel the stiffness to see if there are swollen joints and reddness and show this to your folks. Be sure not to smoke and be sure to get enough exercise. This will help. Don't give up, just keep your folks informed about your symptoms so that they will not ignore your problems and you can get help.
