Please somethings very wrong? |
For the past few months my arms and legs have been jerking...not twitching..but like jerking..it comes and it goes..but its really annoying also my fingers are very stiff...and for the past few weeks..my feet have been getting pins and needles very easly..but it only last for like 1 min at the most..Im 15 iv been to a nero and he did some test like reflexs and stuff and he said everythign looked fine..im so worried about what this is..im scared i have als or ms...i tell my parents..but they think its all in my head...im really scared i have Lou Gehrig's disease or multiple sclerosis...please what could this be When my arm started doing that jerking thing and my fingers and toes got that prickly feeling, I also panicked. A good dose of Gator-Aid stopped it - seems I was getting dehydrated and didn't have enough electrolytes in my system. Do you drink enough water? If the Neuro said that you are OK, then I'd look to your diet for an answer. you should see a doctor You need to go see a doctor for a proper diagnosis. Seeking answers from a bunch of strangers about a health issue is not wise. If you find out let me know. I have the same exact thing..well just my arm has sharp pains down from my shoulder to my finger tips and its soo stifff..and it even gets so bad itll go down to my butt and legs..Ive been to the nero too and he says its fine..could just be stress..personally I think hes a joke!...good luck =) It's part of growing honey. Your worried to much. Talk to SOMEONE who might actually make a move to prevent you from something that may be serious. I once watched an episode of 'House' with a woman with this kind of problem. She went to the hospital because it was serious. Not to scare you, but you should see a doctor. Many people when they read this will think it sounds like some illness they know about and tell you that. It could be any number of things, and it could also be what the doctor said - nothing. but you are going to worry about this until you get some closure on it. I suggest you go see another doctor. It is always good to get a second opinion, especially when you are so worried and the symptoms keep re-occurring like this. You could be having Spasms... There is also a condition called Spastic paraparesis, generally it is an inherited condition however, so someone else in your family would have to had these symptoms. Thats really something you should see a physical therapist about. Sounds like a circulatory problem. Try to find a doctor to check your blood circulation! and fast! If it continues tell your parents again! |
