Does anyone know any good facilities that have good long term care to help recovering cutters?

I have been cutting for about 5 years now... and I know I have to tell my parents, but first I want to find a mental hospital that has a good rating for long term care for self-injurers and other addictions... Please I really need help, and I don't want my parents to argue about it, so If I set up hospitalization before I tell them then, they won't have time to argue about it with me... Please help... Thank you....

P.S. No nonsense!

the first step to recovery is being able to acknowledge that your problem needs addressing...
i really admire you for wanting to do the right thing and seek help.. it can be so hard to admit that you are in need of professional help but believe me...there is no shame in it...
you'd be suprised how many people suffer from mental illnesses but some can conceal it extremely well.. cutting yourself is quite common and like OCD it seems to relieve people there their stresses and compulsions...
all i can say is consult your doctor and tell him everything..you have to tell him to the true extent of your physical harming and explain that you may feel suicidal..(i read your other post)
doctors can be really flippant but if you tell them how you really feel and say you want 2 be referred to a psychologist...
they can really help...talking can do so much
you are not alone in this world...there are so many people that suffer in silence which is worse as bottling these actions can have disastrous consquences...
however NOTHING is ever too big...as much as it may seem...nothing is ever too late and nothing is ever unchangeable..
i know it may seem like the world is a dull and malicious place but with the right help...you can change your life
i know i say this, but im also depressed at the moment... but as people say, its easier to address peoples problems than fix your own!
i hope you get better mate, have faith, there is nothing you cannot do!
if u wanna chat contact me..
all the best

I dont have any answers for you, but I do wish you luck. Overcomming self-injury is not something that is easy to do (Im still struggling right now with it). You are very brave for wanting to tell your parents and change your life.

The best advice I can give is to google the site Secret Shame and the message board "Bodies Under Siege" which also goes by BUS. Both had links to information for family and friends of self-injuerers. (Im sure of the exact addressess off hand)

I wish you the best of luck, my dear. Be gentle with yourself. IM me if you would like to talk sometime.

i know a factory for cutting papers, how about it?
