What are the accual duties of an LPN in a long term care facility?

It differs from state to state to what an LPN is allowed to do. I was one in Arkansas years ago and my duties included daily assesments of patient, wound care, catheritization, feeding tubes, dispensing medication, doctor calls, documentation, these are just a few, some places allow LPNs to draw blood and start IV's Hope this helps. If you are planning on going into nursing good luck!!! It is a very rewarding job.
